RESOLUTION NO. 2022-521
RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIANCE TO NOISE
ORDINANCE REQUEST FROM TIMOTHY O'CONNOR, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH A BLOCK PARTY, TO BE HELD ON
SEPTEMBER 10, 2022 FROM 12:00 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M., IN THE
200 BLOCK OF DEARBORN AVENUE, INCLUDING LIVE
MUSIC.
WHEREAS, the Timothy O'Connor has requested to hold a block party September 10,
2022, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., in the 200 block of Dearborn Avenue, including live
music, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Timothy O'Connor, to hold a block party September
10, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., in the 200 block of Dearborn Avenue, including live
music and the use of a PA system, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of August 2022.
