RESOLUTION NO. 2022-523
RESOLUTION PPROVING VARIANCE TO NOISE ORDINANCE
REQUEST FROM LOUANN MCINTOSH ON BEHALF OF NEW
LIFE CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES, IN CONJUNCTION WITH A
VICTORY REVIVAL, TO BE HELD AUGUST 13-17, 2022 FROM
5:00 P.M. TO 8:30 P.M., AT SULLIVAN PARK, INCLUDING USE
OF A PA SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, the LouAnn McIntosh on behalf of New Life Christian Ministries, is
requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance on August 13-17, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.,
at Sullivan Park, including use of a PA system, in conjunction with the Victory Revival event,
and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of LouAnn McIntosh on behalf of New Life Christian
Ministries, to hold the Victory Revival event August 13-17, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at
Sullivan Park, including use of a PA system, and vendors, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of August 2022.
