RESOLUTION NO. 2022-535
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID TO CLEAN INFUSION, LLC,
OF PRUSSIA, PENNSYLVANIA, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$538,800.00, APPROVING THE CONTRACT, BOND AND
CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
FY 2023 WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT FINAL
CLARIFIER NO. 3 REHABILITATION PROJECT, CONTRACT
NO. 1067, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, Clean Infusion, LLC, of Prussia, Pennsylvania, submitted a bid in the
amount of $323,402.95, in conjunction with the FY 2023 Wastewater Treatment Plant Final
Clarifier No. 3 Rehabilitation Project, Contract No. 1067, and is the apparent low bidder, and
WHEREAS, Clean Infusion, LLC, submitted a written contract, bond and certificate of
insurance, in conjunction with the FY 2023 Wastewater Treatment Plant Final Clarifier No. 3
Rehabilitation Project, Contract No. 1067.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid of Clean Infusion, LLC, in the amount of $538,800.00, in conjunction with
the FY 2023 Wastewater Treatment Plant Final Clarifier No. 3 Rehabilitation Project,
Contract No. 1067, is hereby awarded.
2. That the contract, bond and certificate of insurance submitted by Clean Infusion, LLC, in
conjunction with the FY 2023 Wastewater Treatment Plant Final Clarifier No. 3
Rehabilitation Project, Contract No. 1067, are hereby approved.
3. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of August 2022.
