RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF BID TO UNIFORM DEN
OF MOLINE, ILLINOIS, FOR PURCHASE OF POLICE
DEPARTMENT BODY ARMOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Uniform Den of Moline, Illinois, for the
Purchase of Police Department Body Armor, in the amount of
$589.00 per vest over the course of a five-year contract,
described in the specifications heretofore adopted by this
Council for said purchase in Resolution No. 2010-617, after
public hearing on July 19, 2010 on published notice required by
law, be and is hereby accepted, the same being the only bid
received that met the needs of both male and female officers for
said purchase.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of August, 2010.
