It was moved by Seeber, seconded by Miller that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Motion carried. The following bids were reviewed for window blinds and installation in City Hall : Blinds Removal Installation Total Royal Window $10,207.90 $227.00 $1,094.00 $11,528.90 J.C. Penney $21,004.00 --- --- $21,004.00 Master' s Touch $8,880.63 --- $8,330.00 $17,210.63 Magic Window $8,342.00 $200.00 $1,300.00 $9,842.00 Town and Country $6,634.00 $1,120.00 $2,232.00 $9,986.00 Kirk Gross $6,723.00 $592 .00 $1 ,554.00 $8,869.00 It was the recommendation of the Clerk/Auditor' s Office to accept the low bid of Kirk Gross. Councilperson Wright, Chairperson of the Building and Grounds Committee, reported that the Building and Grounds Committee had recommended that bids be authorized for the replacement of blinds in City Hall . Funds for this project will come from the City Hall Window Replacement Fund. Council- person Miller expressed his concern for a need for an overall decoration plan for City Hall . He felt that their should be a ten year plan so that any structural and/or decoration changes would fit into the overall scheme. It was moved by Miller, seconded by Dowie that the low bid of Kirk Gross Company in the amount of $8,869 be accepted for window blinds in City Hall . Motion carried. It was moved by Seeber, seconded by Miller that bills payment be approved as contained in Schedule A918, pp. 1-32, totalling $132,927.06, dated October 5, 1987. Motion carried.
