Members present: Chairperson Dowie, Miller and Seeber.
Also present: Wright, Budak, Angel and Mayor McKinley.
It was moved by Miller, seconded by Seeber that the Agenda, as proposed, be
approved. Motion carried.
It was moved by Seeber, seconded by Miller that authorization be given to the
Fire Department for the purchase of mast trousers in the amount of $371, plus
shipping, for the emergency personnel on ambulance. Motion carried.
The establishment of income guidelines for persons eligible for garbage
exemptions for calendar year 1988 was discussed. The Clerk/Auditor recommended
that the income level for calendar year 1988 remain at $7,000 per household per
year. It was moved by Seeber, seconded by Miller that said income guideline be
established for garbage exemption for calendar year 1988. Motion carried.
It was moved by Miller, seconded by Seeber that bills payment be approved as
contained in Schedule A918, pp. 1-59, totalling $794,153.35, and Schedule W900,
pp. 1-9, totalling $64,707.82, dated September 28, 1987. Motion carried.
With no further business before the Committee, the meeting was adjourned.
