Members present: Miller and Seeber.
Members absent: Chairperson Dowie.
It was moved by Miller, seconded by Seeber that the Agenda, as proposed, be
approved. Mot ion carried.
The bid recommendations fran the Police Chief for new Model 66 Smith and
Wesson .357 Magnum revolvers and new Safariland Model 29 Hi-Ride holsters wire
reviewed. It was moved by Seeber, seconded by Miller that the recommendation
of the Police Chief to accept the low bid of Sioux Sales Company in the amount
of $1 ,003.50 ( initial cost of weapons and holsters minus trade-in) be
approved. Mot ion carried.
It was moved by Miller, seconded by Seeber that the Fire Department be given
authorization to purchase a computer for the Fire Prevention Bureau. Motion
c arri ed .
It was moved by Seeber, seconded by Miller that a garbage refund for
1800 Cornwall Avenue in the amount of $23.20 be approved together with the
recommendation of approval to the City Council for bill payments contained in
A900, pp. 1 - 28, totalling $187,436.06, dated May 4, 1987. Motion carried .
With no further business before the Committee, the meeting was adjourned .
