It was moved by Getty, seconded by Dowie that the agenda be approved as proposed. Motion carried. The following bids were reviewed for the F.Y. 1986 Hope, Sherman, Boston Avenue curb and gutter repair: Bidder Bid Amount B & B Builder's Supply $8,868.05 Tom Dolan Concrete $9,512.66 Elias Grover/Sam Daniels $9,517.03 Asgard Construction Co. $10,410.73 Max Bowers Masonry $10,586.15 Concrete Foundations, Inc. $11 ,265.62 Rose Corporation of Iowa $12,456.15 Rampart Corporation $13,301 .41 Custom Concrete Construction $15,632.80 The City Engineer recommended that the low bid of B & B Builders Supply in the amount of $8,868.05 be approved. It was moved by Getty, seconded by Dowie that the recommendation be approved. Motion carried. It was moved by Dowie, seconded by Getty that the garbage refund for 221 Fowler Street in the amount of $44.20 be approved. Motion carried. Eric Thorson, City Engineer, requested authorization to solicit bids for brick repair on E. 4th Street (approximately 3,000 sq. ft). It was moved by Getty, seconded by Dowie that authorization be given to seek bids for said repair. Motion carried. It was moved by Getty, seconded by Dowie that the bills for payment be recommended to the City Council for payment. Motion carried.
