Mayor's Conference Room
Members present: Chairperson Dowie, Miller, Seeber.
The agenda, as proposed, was approved.
The following bids were reviewed for lease of a copy machine for the Police
Department:

Police Chief Shook explained the reasons for making the recommendation to
accept the bid of the Sharp SP 9500 for a three year lease at $496.16 per
month. It was moved by Seeber, seconded by Miller that the recommendation
of the Chief be approved. Motion carried.
It was moved by Seeber, seconded by Miller that authorization be given to
the Street Department to seek bids on an overhead door at the Street
Department Building. Motion carried.
Chairperson Dowie explained that the bills recommended to the Council for
approval by the Finance Committee are available for inspection in the
Office of the Clerk/Auditor. All bills over $300 must be approved by the
Finance Committee. It was moved by Miller, seconded by Seeber that the
bills for payment be recommended to the City Council for approval. Motion
carried.
Chairperson Dowie explained that the Finance Committee receives requests
for garbage refunds. Each request is researched by the Clerk/Auditor's
Office and a recommendation made. It was moved by Miller, seconded by
Dowie that the garbage refund for 412 Thompson Street in the amount of
$48.72 be approved. Motion carried.
With no further business before the Committee, the meeting was adjourned.
