Members Present: Jack Seeber, Jim Miller. Members Absent : Chairman Frank
Dowie.
It was moved by Miller, seconded by Seeber that the Agenda, as proposed, be
approved. Motion carried.
The bid from Overhead Door Company for the replacement of two (2) doors at
the Street Department building at a cost of $1,099 each was reviewed. It was
noted that this is the only company in the area providing installation and
service of doors this size. It was moved by Miller, seconded by Seeber that
the bid of Overhead Door Company be approved. Motion carried .
The following bids were reviewed for material to build a snow chute for the
ConWay Ramp:

Samson Supply & Mfg. , Inc. $564.95
It was the recommendation of the Superintendent of Motor Vehicle Parking to
accept the low bid of Samson Supply & Mfg. , Inc. It was moved by Miller,
seconded by Seeber that this recommendation be approved . Motion carried .
It was moved by Miller, seconded by Seeber that the Police Department be
given authorization to seek bids for 1987 police vehicles. Motion carried .
It was moved by Miller, seconded by Seeber that authorization be given to the
Superintendent of Central Garage to seek bids for three (3) radios for dump
trucks in the Street Department. Motion carried.
It was moved by Miller, seconded by Seeber that authorization be given to the
City Engineer to seek bids for sidewalk repairs at the Ellis Hotel demolition
site. Motion carried .
It was moved by Miller, seconded by Seeber that the garbage refund for
2127 West Third Street in the amount of $52.20 be approved, together with the
recommendation of approval to the City Council for bill payments contained in
Schedule A, A900, pp. 1-56, totalling $1,486,831 .37 and W900, pp. 1-30,
totalling $461,245.09, dated October 27, 1986. Motion carried .
With no further business before the Committee, the meeting was adjourned.
