Members present: Chairperson Dowie, Miller, and Seeber.
It was moved by Seeber, seconded by Miller that the Agenda, as proposed, be
approved. Motion carried.
The following bids were reviewed for fitness screening for firefighters :
BIDDER BID AMOUNT ALTERNATE 1
Covenant Medical Center $10.20 per man for $3.00 per man for
six tests or additional blood
assessments test
Allen Hospital $19.00 per man for $6.00 per man for
six tests or additional blood
assessments tests
It was-\the recommendation of the Fire Department to accept the low bid of
Covennenant Medical Center. It was moved by Seeber, seconded by Miller that
this ►'commendation be approved. Motion carried.
It was moved by Miller, seconded by Seeber that the bills for payment be
approved including the W900 report of manual warrants written during the
month of August, pp. 1-4 and that the W900 dated September 8, 1986, pp. 1-49,
totalling $1,797,266.10 be recommended to the Council for approval . Motion
carried.
With no further business before the Committee, the meeting was adjourned.
