Members present: Miller and Seeber. Members absent: Chairperson Dowie.
It was moved by Miller, seconded by Seeber, that the Agenda, as proposed, be
approved.
The following bids were reviewed for police uniform cleaning:
Bidder Bid
Sery Quik One Hour Cleaners $11.45 per cleaning
Varsity Cleaners $20.80 per cleaning
Bruce Meisinger, Budget Analyst, indicated that these proposals were sought
for uniform management personnel in the Police Department. It was his
recommendation to accept the low bid of Sery Quik One Hour Cleaners. It was
moved by Seeber, seconded by Miller that this recommendation be approved.
Motion carried.
It was moved by Miller, seconded by Seeber that the Police Department be
given authorization to seek bids from suppliers for the purchase of firearms
ammunition. Motion carried.
It was moved by Miller, seconded by Seeber that garbage refunds for
1016 Sheridan Road in the amount of $34.80 and 1100 Upton Avenue in the
amount of $17.40 be approved. Motion carried.
It was moved by Seeber, seconded by Miller that the bills for payment be
recommended to the Council for approval . Motion carried.
With no further business before the Finance Committee, the meeting was
adjourned.
