Mayor's Conference Room
Following discussion it was moved by Getty, seconded by Klinger to
authorize the sale of the 1968 Ford pumper to the Floyd Township
Rural Fire Department, Floyd, Iowa in the amount of $1 ,000.00.
Motion carried.
The request of Motor Vehicle Parking to replace treads with steel
plates and cover the backs with steel plates in the stairways at the
East Side Parking Ramp was reviewed. Bids were received as follows:
General Sheet Metal
63 treads @ $11 .30 total $ 711 .90
22 covers @ $ 8.20 total 180.40
$ 892.30
Razors Metal Shop
63 treads @ $16.00 total $1 ,008.00
22 covers @ $ 8.35 total 183.70
$1 ,191 .70
It was moved by Getty, seconded by Dowie to authorize the purchase
from General Sheet Metal. Motion carried.
It was moved by Klinger, seconded by Getty to authorize garbage
refunds for Mary Powers, 615-617 E. 4th Street in the amount of
$56.72 and to Falls Road Drug in the amount of $52.80. Motion
carried.
It was moved by Getty, seconded by Klinger to approve the following
requisition together with the bills contained in Resolution No.
1984-233, approved by the City Council on June 11 , 1984:
Electrical 15038 Clayton E. Marquart $1 ,250.00
Motion carried.
With no further business before the Committee, the meeting adjourned.
