A request for additional funding was made by Hugh Field, Chairman of
the Task Force for the purposes of defraying the costs of plan
preparation for the Greyhound Race Track Application. They have
incurred related costs, including the hiring of a public relations
firm for $15,000.00. The request of $2,500 is joined by
contributions made by Waterloo Industrial Development Assoc. (WIDA) ,
National Cattle Congress, and the Black Hawk Economic Development
Committee. It was moved by Dowie, seconded by Klinger to approve
funding in the amount of $2,500.00. Motion carried.
With no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
