The following bids were reviewed for road salt for ice control for winter of 1983-1984: Bidder ' Dump Truck Conveyor Truck Delivery/Ton Delivery/Ton Cargill $28.60 - Diamond Crystal $26.60 $27.60 Internat' 1 $25.90 $27.90 It was moved by Bowers, seconded by Roehr to approve the recommendation of the Street Superintendent to approve the bid of International Salt for Dump Truck Delivery in the amount of $25.90. Motion carried. Review of the renovation bids for the third floor of the Waterloo Public Library for the Cedar Arts Forum was brought to the floor for discussion. Mayor Rooff reported that prior to a decision on this matter he wished to further research quotes given to each of the prime contractors by subcontractors. It was moved by Roehr, seconded by Bowers to delay action on this matter until November 7, 1983. Motion carried. Don Temeyer, Planning, Programming and Zoning Director reviewed his memo of October 19, 1983 regarding rate changes in conjunction with the West Side Parking Ramp. Suggested rates were included in a report prepared by DuLeuw, Cather and Company. It was moved by Bowers, seconded by Roehr to allow further review of the rate structure and to place it on the Finance Agenda of November 7, 1983 for recommendation to the Council on November 7, 1983. Motion carried. It was moved by Roehr, seconded by Bowers to approve the following requisitions: Electrical Dept. 8754 Kies Electric Co. $994.60 8749 Radio Trade Supply Co. $524.07 Sewer Dept. 9090 $875.00 Police Dept. 9449 Denny's Shooters Supply $2,200.00 Fire Dept. 9392 Physio-Control Corporation $1,200.00 Motion carried. It was moved by Bowers, seconded by Wilharm to approve payment of the bills over $300.00 contained within Resolution No. 1983-535 adopted by the City Council on October 24, 1983. Motion carried.
