The following bid was received in conjunction with the East Side
Parking Ramp Wall Renovation:
Bidder Amount
Tom Dolan Concrete Contractors $8,927.00
It was moved by Bowers, seconded by Roehr to approve the
recommendation of the Assistant City Engineer and Contract Compliance
Officer to accept this bid. Motion carried.
The following bids were reviewed for sixty (60) twenty-four (24) hour
recording tapes for the Police Department;
Bidder Amount
Dictaphone Corp. $1,680.00
3 M Company $1,299.60
It was moved by Roehr, seconded by Bowers to approve the
recommendation of the Police Department to accept the bid of 3 M
Company. Motion carried.
Discussion was heard recommending that prior to purchase of 850 high
pressure sodium street lights, a trial section be undertaken to test
the effectiveness of this alternative lighting. It was moved by
Roehr, seconded by Bowers to authorize the Electrical Department to
take bids on 850 High Pressure Sodium Street Lights. Motion
carried.
It was moved by Roehr, seconded by Bowers to approve the following
pay authorizations and requisitions:
