RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF MATT BOYD FOR
VARIANCE TO NOISE ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO.
3094.
WHEREAS, Matt Boyd is requesting a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on August 28, 2010 from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and
August 29, 2010 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in conjunction with
the Northend Arts and Music Fest to be held at 1621 E. 4th
Street, including a PA system and band, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Noise
Ordinance, Ordinance No. 3094, and
WHEREAS, said Matt Boyd has made formal application for a
variance on August 28, 2010 from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and
August 29, 2010 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Matt Boyd for a variance to
Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, August 28, 2010 from 12:00
p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and August 29, 2010 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00
p.m. in conjunction with the Northend Arts and Music Fest to be
held at 1621 E. 4th Street, including a PA system and band, be
and the same hereby granted.
