The Finance Committee of the City of Waterloo , Iowa met in the
Mayor ' s Conference Room in City Hall at 6 : 30 p .m. on Monday ,
July 26 , 1982.
Present : Wilharm , Roehr and Bowers
Bids were opened for Fire Equipment for the Waterloo Fire Department .
Emergency Medical Products $4 ,802 . 77 .
Moved by Bowers , seconded by Roehr to refer the above bid to the
Fire Department for review and a report back .
Motion carried .
Moved by Roehr , seconded by Bowers to receive and file the
recommendation on radio bids from Street and Sewer Department
and approve the purchase .
Motion carried.
Moved by Roehr , seconded by Bowers
to authorize the Street Department to take bids on the following
pieces of equipment :
5 single axle dump trucks with snow plows
3 complete snow plows for diesel tandem trucks
1 truck mounted end loader
1 air cooled diesel air compressor
Motion carried .
Moved by Roehr , seconded by Bowers
to authorize the Sewer Department to take bids on a One-Ton Truck .
Motion carried.
Moved by Bowers , seconded by Roehr
to receive , file and approve a recommendation from Planning/Health
and Sanitation for a 10% increase to Black Hawk County Humane
Society and have the communication placed on the Council Agenda ,
August 2 , 1982 .
