HomeMy WebLinkAbout03/22/1982 FINANCE COMMITTEE March 22, 1982 City Hall Waterloo, Iowa The Finance Committee of the City of Waterloo, Iowa met in the Mayor's Conference Room in City Hall at 6:30 P.M. on March 22, 1982. Council Member Dowie presiding officer. On Roll Call : Dowie, Wilharm, Bowers, Roehr The following bids were opened for microfilm equipment for use by all City Hall departments: System System System System Bidder 1 2 3 4 1 . Office System Division, Inc. 14,880.00 It was moved by Bowers, seconded by Roehr to refer the above bids to the City Clerk for review and recommendation. Motion carried. Under new business, additional retirement pay for LaVern Fratzke, a former employee of Conway Civic Center, was reviewed. An amount of $529.00 had been inadvertently omitted from the original check. It was moved by Roehr, seconded by Bowers to refer the above matter to the full Council for review and recommendation. Motion carried. Curt Parsons, Building Official , presented the request of Jens Olesen and Sons Construction Company for a refund of $950.00 for a building permit obtained for Reed Cadillac, Olds, Honda on San Marnan Drive. Since the Committee had previously allowed such amounts to be credited to the contractor for future permits, it was moved by Roehr, seconded by Bowers, to approve a credit to their account at the Building Official 's Office, less 20%. Motion carried. It was moved by Roehr, seconded by Wilharm, to approve payment of the following bills: DEPT. VENDOR AMOUNT Fire Schoitz Memorial Hospital $455.75 Water Pollution Control (WPC) Iowa Custom Machine 414.75 **Police **Dr. Nickles & Janssen 487.00 **delayed approval for 2 days/not in 3-15-82 Minutes The motion carried.
