RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF BID, BONDS, AND
CONTRACT TO TRANS -IOWA EQUIPMENT, INC. OF
ANKENY, IOWA, FOR THE PURCHASE OF CARRIER
VEHICLE AND SWEEPER FOR WATERLOO REGIONAL
AIRPORT, IN THE AMOUNT OF $585,000.00.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Trans -Iowa Equipment, Inc., of Ankeny, Iowa,
in the amount of $585,000.00, for the purchase of a Carrier
Vehicle and Sweeper for the Waterloo Regional Airport, described
in the specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said
purchase in Resolution No. 2010-556, after public hearing on
June 28, 2010 on published notice required by law, be and is
hereby accepted, the same being the only bid received for said
purchase.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of August, 2010.
