RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIANCE TO NOISE
ORDINANCE REQUEST FROM KERI MCMAHON ON
BEHALF OF HEARTLAND BUSINESS SYSTEMS, LLC, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE HBS IOWA LEAGUE OF CITIES
RECEPTION, TO BE HELD ON SEPTEMBER 28, 2022 FROM
8:00 P.M. TO 12:00 A.M., AT GR KITCHEN & TAPS, 205 W.
4TH STREET, INCLUDING LIVE MUSIC AND THE USE OF A
PA SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, Keri McMahon on behalf of Heartland Business Systems, LLC is requesting
a variance to the Noise Ordinance on September 28, 2022 from 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., in
conjunction with the HBS Iowa League of Cities Reception, to be held at GR Kitchen & Taps,
205 W. 4th Street, including live music and the use of a P.A. system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the Keri McMahon on behalf of Heartland Business
Systems, LLC, for a variance to the Noise Ordinance, September 28, 2022 from 8:00 p.m. to
12:00 a.m., in conjunction with the HBS Iowa League of Cities Reception, to be held at GR
Kitchen & Taps, 205 W. 4th Street, including live music and the use of a P.A. system, be hereby
approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of September 2022.
