RESOLUTION NO. 2022-559
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND ACCEPTANCE OF WORK FOR WORK PERFORMED
BY MUNICIPAL PIPE AND TOOL CO., LLC, OF HUDSON,
IOWA, AND RELEASE OF RETAINAGE IN THE AMOUNT
OF $49,818.05 SRF AND $7,879.19 NON-SRF FOR A TOTAL
OF $57,698.14, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2021 CIP
PIPELINING PHASE IVA2, CONTRACT NO. 1043, AND
RECEIVE AND FILE A TWO YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Municipal Pipe and Tool Co., LLC, of Hudson, Iowa, performed work in
conjunction with the FY 2021 CIP Pipelining Phase IVA2, Contract No. 1043, in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, Municipal Pipe and Tool Co., LLC, completed the aforementioned project
in accordance with the construction plans, standards and specifications of this office.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Recommendation of Acceptance of Improvements of the FY 2021
CIP Pipelining Phase IVA2, Contract No. 1043, for the work performed by Municipal Pipe and
Tool Co., LLC, is hereby approved, a two (2) year maintenance bond is hereby received and
filed, and retainage in the amount of $49,818.05 SRF and $7,879.19 Non-SRF for a total of
$57,698.14 is hereby released.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of September 2022.
