RESOLUTION NO. 2022-563
RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
OCTOBER 3, 2022 TO APPROVE AN AMENDMENT TO THE
DOWNTOWN WATERLOO RIVERFRONT URBAN
RENEWAL AND REDEVELOPMENT PLAN, TO UPDATE
PROJECTS AND PROJECT BUDGETS TO BE INCLUDED IN
THE PLAN, AND OTHER GENERAL UPDATES TO THE
PLAN, AND SETTING DATE OF CONSULTATION WITH
TAXING ENTITIES AS SEPTEMBER 19, 2022, AND
INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 3rd day of October
2022, to approve an amendment to the Downtown Waterloo Riverfront Urban Renewal and
Redevelopment Plan, to update projects and project budgets to be included in the Plan, and other
general updates to the Plan, and setting date of consultation with taxing entities as September 19,
2022.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of September 2022.
