RESOLUTION NO. 2022-262
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN ENCROACHMENT
EASEMENT AGREEMENT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT
513 IVANHOE ROAD, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that
the request by Waterloo Water Works for an Encroachment Agreement, dated May 2, 2022, by
and between Dustin S. Lies and Erica Lies, husband and wife, and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, in
conjunction with construction of a black chain link fence, at 513 Ivanhoe Road, to butt up to a
black chain link fence located on City property, but will not hook onto the City fence, and legally
described as follows:
SITUATED IN BLACK HAWK COUNTY, STATE OF IOWA, DESCRIBED
AS FOLLOWS: THE EAST SEVENTY-FIVE (75) FEET OF LOT NO.
FIFTEEN (15) 1N KENYON'S ADDITION, THE CITY OF WATERLOO, AND
ALSO THE WEST TWENTY (20) FEET OF THE WEST THREE HUNDRED
(300) FEET OF THE EAST THREE HUNDRED THIRTY-THREE (333) FEET
OF THE NORTH ONE HUNDRED FIFTY (15) [SIC] FEET OF THE
SOUTHEAST QUARTER (SE 1/4) OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER (SE 1/4)
OF SECTION THIRTY-FOUR (34), TOWNSHIP EIGHTY-NINE (89) NORTH,
RANGE THIRTEEN (13) WEST OF THE 5TH P.M. IN BLACK HAWK
COUNTY, IOWA,
is hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said
document on behalf of the City of Waterloo.
