RESOLUTION NO. 2022-528 RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF HABITAT FOR HUMANITY, FOR A WAIVER FOR A CONCRETE DRIVEWAY, LOCATED AT 1633 CALHOUN STREET, AND AUTHORIZE THE CONSTRUCTION OF A CONCRETE DRIVEWAY AND PLACING A DRIVEWAY OR SIDEWALK ON CITY RIGHT-OF-WAY ON AN UNIMPROVED STREET. WHEREAS, it is the sense of the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, that said request should be granted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that permission is hereby granted to Habitat for Humanity to construct a concrete driveway, and placing a driveway or sidewalk on Resolution No. 2022-528 Page 2 city right-of-way on an unimproved street, located at 1633 Calhoun Street, subject to the following conditions: 1. Work is to be performed by an approved and bonded contractor. 2. A permit is to be obtained from the office of the City Engineer prior to construction. 3. All work shall be under the supervision of the City Engineer and at no cost to the City of Waterloo. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the Black Hawk County Recorder for recording and the Black Hawk County Auditor for filing in order that this said action may become a matter of official County Record.
