We, the undersigned Members of the Board of Supervisors and ex-officia County Board of Canvassers forthis County,
do hereby certify the following to be a true and correct abstract of the votes cast in this County at the Special Election held
on the 13th day of September, 2022, as shown by the tally lists returned from the several election precincts.
For the public measure
Public Measure A
Shall the City of Waterloo, Iowa, enter into a loan agreement and issue its General Obligation Capital Loan Notes
in an amount not exceeding the amount of $20,000,000 for the purpose of paying costs of designing, acquiring,
constructing, installing and equipping all or part of a fiber optic backbone and fiber to the premise broadband
communications system and related infrastructure, equipment and facilities, including the connection of key City
facilities to support the City's current and future functions and services and for the provision of Municipal
Communications Utility services?

For the question, there were: Two thousand two hundred twenty (2220) votes
Against the question, there were: Four hundred fourteen (414) votes
TOTAL Two thousand six hundred thirty-four (2634) votes
We therefore declare the public measure "A" to be adopted.
