of Contract, And Estimate of Cost For the
HANGAR NO. 4 IMPROVEMENTS

RECEIVING OF BIDS
Sealed proposals will be received by the
City Clerk of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, at
her office in the City Hall of the said City
on the 29th day of September 2022, until
1:00 p.m. for the construction of the
HANGAR NO. 4 IMPROVEMENTS
(2022), Contract No. 3345. as described
in detail in the plans and specifications
now on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
OPENING OF BIDS
All proposals received will be opened in
the Harold E. Getty Council Chambers at
City Hall, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on
the 29th day of September 2022, at 1:00
p.m., and the proposals will be acted
upon at such later time and place as may
then be fixed by the Cily Council.
PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Council of
said City will conduct a public hearing on
the proposed plans, specifications. form
of contract, and estimate of cost for the
construction of the above -described im-
provement project at 5:30 p.m. on the 3rd
day of October 2022, said hearing to be
held in the Harold E. Getty Council
Chambers in City Hall in said City. The
proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, and estimate of cost for said
improvements heretofore prepared by the
City of Waterloo are now on file in the
office of the City Clerk for public
examination, and any person interested
therein may file written objection thereto
with the City Clerk before the date set for
said healing, or appear and make
objection thereto with the City Clerk
before the date set for said hearing, or
appear and make objection thereto at the
meeting above set forth.
SCOPE OF WORK
The scope of this project consists of a
1,650 square foot interior renovation of an
existing office. The renovation includes
converting one restroom to an ADA
restroom; installing new ceilings, lights
and diffusers; reconnecting roof top
HVAC unit; reconnecting the existing
water meter; replacing all plumbing
fixtures; replacing the electrical system
downstream of the existing service panel;
replacing the building's communication
system; refinishing walls; and installing
flooring. The purpose of this project is to
create a space suitable for a tenant lease.
Published pursuant to the provisions of
Chapter 26 of the City Code of Iowa and
upon order to the City Council of said
Waterloo, Iowa, on the 6th day of
September 2022.
