RESOLUTION APPROVING RECOMMENDATION OF AWARD
OF CONTRACT TO B & B BUILDERS AND SUPPLY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, FOR THE F.Y. 2011 SIDEWALK
REPAIR ASSESSMENT PROGRAM - ZONE 10, CONTRACT
NO. 781, IN THE AMOUNT OF $184,478.95.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of B & B Builders and Supply of Waterloo, Iowa,
in the amount of $184,478.95, for the F.Y. 2011 Sidewalk Repair
Assessment Program - Zone 10, Contract No. 781, described in the
plans and specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for
said project in Resolution 2010-699, after public hearing on
August 9, 2010 on published notice required by law, be and is
hereby accepted, the same being the apparent low bidder for said
work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of August, 2010.
