RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACTS, BONDS AND
CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE WITH B & B BUILDERS
AND SUPPLY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, FOR THE F. Y.
2011 SIDEWALK REPAIR ASSESSMENT PROGRAM -
ZONE 10, CONTRACT NO. 781 IN THE AMOUNT OF
$184,478.95 AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of B & B Builders and Supply of Waterloo, Iowa,
in the amount of $184,478.95, for the F.Y. 2011 Sidewalk Repair
Assessment Program - Zone 10, Contract No. 781, described in the
plans and specifications heretofore adopted by this Council in
Resolution No. 2010-699 for said project, after public hearing on
August 9, 2010 on published notice required by law, be and is
hereby accepted, the same being the lowest bid received for said
work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract, bonds, and certificates of insurance with the said
contractor for the construction of said improvements
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of August, 2010.
