RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH
VANDEWALLE & ASSOCIATES, INC., FOR
IMPLEMENTATION SERVICES FOR A NUMBER OF
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECTS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED $60,000.00 AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF
SAID AGREEMENT BY MAYOR„
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Agreement dated August 16, 2010, at a cost not to exceed
$60,000.00, for implementation services for the below listed
projects, by and between Vand6walle & Associates, Inc. of
Madison, Wisconsin and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the
same is hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized to execute the
same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
Element One: Wayfinding and Streetscape
Element Two: Catalytic Development Project
Element Three: Downtown Master Plan
Element Four: Project Management Team
Element Five: Funding Strategy
Element Six: RiverLoop Experience
Element Seven: Downtown Development Plan Implementation
Element Eight: Arts Mall Mixed -Use Development
Element Nine: East 4th Street Development
Element Ten: Eastside Neighborhood Implementation
Element Eleven: Downtown Land Banking Strategy and
Business Relocation
Element Twelve: General Project Management for Priority
Projects
Element Thirteen: Cedar River Projects
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of August, 2010.
