RESOLUTION NO. 2022-587
RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIANCE TO NOISE
ORDINANCE REQUEST FROM MARSHALL FRAZIER, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE WELCOME TO NEW LIFE
COMMUNITY WORSHIP SERVICE, TO BE HELD ON
SEPTEMBER 25, 2022 AT LINCOLN PARK, BEGINNING AT
11:30 A.M., INCLUDING LIVE MUSIC AND THE USE OF A
P.A. SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, Marshall Frazier is requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance on
September 25, 2022 beginning at 11:30 a.m., in conjunction with the Welcome to New Life
Community Worship Service, to be held at Lincoln Park, including live music and the use of a
P.A. system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the Marshall Frazier, for a variance to the Noise
Ordinance, September 25, 2022 beginning at 11:30 a.m., in conjunction with the Welcome to
New Life Community Worship Service, to be held at Lincoln Park, including live music and the
use of a P.A. system, be hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of September 2022.
