RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF STORY
CONSTRUCTION CO. FOR VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE
NO. 3094, NOISE ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Story Construction Co. is requesting a variance to
the Noise Ordinance from August 25, 2010 through October 15, 2010
from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in conjunction with the F.Y. 2010
Sixth Street Storm Pump Station Improvements, Contract No. 716,
for the running of bypass pumps, and
WHEREAS, said bypass pumps may exceed the limits of
Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Story Construction Co. has made formal
application for a variance to the Noise Ordinance effective from
August 25, 2010 through October 15, 2010 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00
p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Story Construction Co. for a
variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, from August 25,
2010 through October 15, 2010 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in
conjunction with the F.Y. 2010 Sixth Street Storm Pump Station
Improvements, Contract No. 716, for the running of bypass pumps,
be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of August, 2010.
