RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF CHRISTA MIEHE
OF THE VGM GROUP FOR VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE
NO. 3094, NOISE ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Christa Miehe of The VGM Group is requesting a
variance to the Noise Ordinance on August 28, 2010 from 8:00 p.m.
to 12:00 a.m. in conjunction with an outdoor movie to be shown
for employees in VGM's back parking lot at 1101 W. San Marnan
Drive, and
WHEREAS, said movie will exceed the limits of Ordinance No.
3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Christa Miehe of The VGM Group has made formal
application for a variance to the Noise Ordinance on August 28,
2010 from 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., together with recommendation
of approval of the'Chief of Police.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Christa Miehe of The VGM
Group for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, on
August 28, 2010 from 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. in conjunction with
an outdoor movie to be shown for employees in VGM's back parking
lot at 1101 W. San Marnan Drive, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of August, 2010.
