RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF THE FUN HOUSE
DBA SPICOLI'S GRILL, 3555 UNIVERSITY AVENUE,
FOR VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094, NOISE
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the Fun House dba Spicoli's Grill, 3555 University
Avenue, is requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance on
September 5, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in conjunction
with the University Cruise Car Show to be held in the parking lot
at 3555 University Avenue, with Rock 108 playing music over PA
system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No.
3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Fun House dba Spicoli's Grill, 3555 University
Avenue, has made formal application for a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on September 5, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.,
together with recommendation of approval of the Chief of Police.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Fun House dba Spicoli's
Grill, 3555 University Avenue, is requesting a variance to the
Noise Ordinance on September 5, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
in conjunction with the University Cruise Car Show to be held in
the parking lot at 3555 University Avenue, with Rock 108 playing
music over PA system, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of August, 2010.
