RESOLUTION APPROVING A REAL ESTATE PURCHASE
AGREEMENT (NON-RESIDENTIAL), WITH YOUNGBLUT
FARMS, LTD., AND APPROVING DEEDS TO SELL
PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $182,947.00, LOCATED SOUTHWEST OF 2015
WEST RIDGEWAY AVENUE, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
that the Real Estate Purchase Agreement (Non -Residential), and Deeds to Sell Property to the
City of Waterloo, in the amount of $182,947.00, between Youngblut Farms, LTD and the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, for a 1.05 acre parcel of land located southwest of 2015 West Ridgeway
Avenue, and legally described as follows:
LOT 1, GREENBELT CENTRE PLAT NO. 2, CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, EXCEPT PARCEL "H" ACCORDING TO PLAT OF SURVEY
FILED 9/06/2022 AS DOC. NO. 2023-3984, AND EXCEPT PARCEL
"F" ACCORDING TO PLAT OF SURVEY FILED 3/28/2016 AS DOC.
NO. 2016-16188.
is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute
said documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of October 2022.
