RESOLUTION NO. 2022-619
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS NOVEMBER 3, 2022 AND DATE
OF PUBLIC HEARING AS NOVEMBER 7, 2022, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2023 SANITARY SEWER
GATEWELL REPAIRS PHASE II, CONTRACT NO. 1071, AND
INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the FY 2023 Sanitary Sewer Gatewell Repairs Phase II, Contract No. 1071, are
hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the FY 2023 Sanitary Sewer
Gatewell Repairs Phase II, Contract No. 1071, be scheduled for November 3, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.,
City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 7th day of November 2022,
to hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the FY 2023 Sanitary Sewer Gatewell Repairs
Phase II, Contract No. 1071.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of October 2022.
