RESOLUTION NO. 2022-631
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH PER
MAR SECURITY SERVICES OF DAVENPORT, IOWA IN
CONJUNCTION WITH SECURITY GUARD SERVICES FOR
THE WASTE MANAGEMENT SERVICES DEPARTMENT,
FOR A PERIOD OF THREE (3) YEARS, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, Per Mar Security Services, of Davenport, Iowa, submitted a proposal for
security guard services for the Waste Management Services Department, for a period of three (3)
years as follows: Year 1 $15.85 hr./$27.57 hr./OT; Year 2 $19. l lhr./$28.66hr./OT; Year 3
$19.85hr./$29.77 hr./OT, and is the apparent low bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the proposal submitted by Per Mar Security Services, for security guard
services for the Waste Management Services Department, for a period of three (3) years as
follows: Year 1 $15.85 hr./$27.57 hr./OT; Year 2 $19. I lhr./$28.66hr./OT; Year 3
$19.85hr./$29.77 hr./OT, is hereby accepted and the contract is awarded to Per Mar Security
Services.
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said
documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of October 2022.
