RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF KEVAN
CORTRIGHT ON BEHALF OF BROWNING FAMILY TRUST
TO REZONE FROM "R-4" MULTIPLE RESIDENCE
DISTRICT TO "R -4,C -Z" CONDITIONAL ZONING
DISTRICT APPROXIMATELY 2.5 ACRES GENERALLY
LOCATED AT 3254 KIMBALL AVENUE, AS
SEPTEMBER 7, 2010, AT 5:30 P.M. IN THE
COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN CITY HALL AND INSTRUCTING
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 7th day of September, 2010,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon an application of
Kevan Cortright on behalf of Browning Family Trust to rezone from
"R-4" Multiple Residence District to "R -4,C -Z" Conditional Zoning
District approximately 2.5 acres generally located at 3254
Kimball Avenue, and legally described as follows:
All that part of the East ',� of Section 4, Township 88
North, Range 13 West of the 5th P.M., Black Hawk
County, Iowa, described as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of Tract "A",
Southgate First Addition; thence South 89040153" West,
along the North line of said Tract "A", 50 feet to the
Northwest corner of said Tract "A"; thence South
1012112" East, along the West line of said Tract "A",
50 feet to the Southwest corner of said Tract "A";
thence South 89040153" West, along a line parallel with
and 30 feet South of the South line of the Northeast
Fractional Quarter of said Section, 370.19 feet; thence
North 00017" West, 431.24 feet; thence North 89038'13"
East, 410.14 feet to the Westerly line of Kimball
Avenue; thence South 1012'12" East, along the Westerly
line of Kimball Avenue, 381.72 feet to the point of
beginning, except Parcel "A" of Plat of Survey 332 Misc
943 of part of the Northeast Fractional Quarter of said
Section 4, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
Notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
