RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE
FY 1983 CONSTRUCTION OF CONWAY VICINITY PARKING RAMP ,
CONTRACT NO . 241 .
WHEREAS , by Resolution No. 1982-401 , plans , specifications ,
etc. , for the FY 1983 Construction of Conway Vicinity Parking
Ramp ,,` known as Contract No. 241 , in the City of Waterloo , Iowa ,
have been approved and adopted by this Council after the hearing
prt- aibed by statute, now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
-= that in is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on
W motion, by this Council that the said improvements be constructed
accordance with said plans and specifications .

r- ` ' That the work herein ordered is to be paid in monthly
` estimates , in cash , on the basis of 90% of the work as the same is
competed and materials delivered and the work approved, except
that before the last month ' s payment is made the contractor may be
required to furnish the City Council vouchers showing that all
' subcontractors and workmen and persons furnishing materials have
been fully paid for such materials and labor, and that the City
'1may retain the last month ' s payment for a period of 31 days
following such completion and approval , unless satisfied that
ma-terialsmen and laborers have been paid.

r. That said works shall be done by contract and shall be
commenced promptly after receipt of "Notice to Proceed " and shall
be completed with thirty ( 30) calendar days thereafter.
