A RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION TO STEPHEN A MAURER ,
1123 F. RIDGEWAY AVE . , AND AUTHORIZING CONSTRUCTION OF
ONE ( 1 ) TEMPORARY ASPHALT DRIVEWAY IRRESPECTIVE OF A
LATER OFFICIAL GRADE .
BE IT RESOLVEU ay THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF wATERLOO, IOWA :
That ,
WHEREAS , Stephen A. Mauer, 1123 F. Ridgeway Avenue has made
written application to the City Council asking that he he
authorized and permitted to construct one ( 1 ) temporary Asphalt
driveway without respect to a permanent sidewalk grade when and if
the same may he subsequently set on 1123 Ridgeway Avenue known elS
unplatted Wloo West S 154 FT E 91 FT 14 723 FT E 105 A SE 1/4 Exc
Street , Unplatted WL00 Aest S 164 FT E 20 FT W 632 FT E 105 A SE
1/4 Exc St. 3 -089-013 ; and
WHEREAS , it is the sense of the Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, that said request should he granted, now,
therefore,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that permission is hereby granted to
Stephen A. Mauer , 1123 E. Ridgeway Avenue to construct one ( 1)
temporary aspnalt driveway in accordance with the existing contour
of the abutting land with the subjective understandinp and
agreement between the City of Waterloo, Iowa , and the said Stephen
A. Mauer, 1123 E . Ridgeway Avenue that, should at a later date a
permanent formal grade be established for sidewalk purposes or
otherwise, that the said Stephen A. Maurer, 1123 E. Ridgeway
Avenue will immediately thereafter, and at his own expense, remove
all or whatever portion of temporary asphalt driveway he may have
constructed, and rebuild or reconstruct the same in accordance
with the permanent grade as may hereafter be set and established ,
the work to be done under the supervision of the City Eneineer.
$E IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is authorized
and directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the
Black hawk County Recorder for recording dnd the 81ack Hawk County
Auditor for filing in order that this said action may become a
matter of official County Record.
Passed and adopted this 7 day of September, 1932.
