ACCEPTANCE AND COMPLETION REPORT AS TO
j WORK AND MATERIALS FURNISHED BY WITT CONSTRUCTION CO .

c) ti17. NO. 212 AND CERTIFYING PAYMENT ACCORDINGLY AND

WHEREAS , Witt Construction Co. , of Waterloo , Iowa have
under contract with the City of Waterloo, Iowa , dated May 4 , 1981 ,
furnished certain materials and performed labor in connection with
FY 1981 Rachael Street Storm Sewer, Contract No. 212, in the City
of Waterloo , Iowa , and
WHEREAS , the completion report of City Engineer for the work
performed and materials furnished by the said contractors under
said contract is $185 , 730. 54 , and
WHEREAS , under the terms of said contract said contractors ,
Witt Construction Co. , are to be paid 90% of the monthly estimates
as furnished by the Engineers for the City of Waterloo , Iowa , and
WHEREAS, said contractors have been previously paid the
amount of $165 , 510. 76 leaving a balance due of $ 10 , 933 . 25 , now,
therefore ,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO , IOWA :
That the report of the Engineers be approved, said contractors ,
Witt Construction Co. , be paid the sum of $10 , 933 . 25 and the same
be delivered to the said Witt Construction Co , .
Passed and adopted this 13 day of September , 1982.
