.4 4 :v >., CONTRACT NO. 233 AND CERTIFYING PAYMENT ACCORDINGLY
—AND ACCEPTING THE WORK.
WHEREAS', Seals Construction of Waterloo, Iowa have under
contract with the City of Waterloo , Iowa , dated June 21 , 1982 ,
furnished certain materials and performed labor in connection with
FY 1982 Sidewalk Repair Program, Section I & II , Contract No. 233 ,
in the City of Waterloo, Iowa , and
WHEREAS , the completion report of City Engineer for the work
performed and materials furnished by the said contractors under
said contract is $30 ,847 . 30 , and
o WHEREAS , under the terms of said contract said contractors ,
Seall Construction , are to be paid 90% of the monthly estimates as
furnished by the Engineers for the City of Waterloo , Iowa , and
WHEREAS , said contractors have been previously paid the
amount of $20 , 149. 60 leaving a balance due of $9 , 155 . 34 now,
therefore ,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO , IOWA:
That the report of the Engineers be approved, said contractors ,
Seals Construction , be paid the sum of $9 , 155 . 34 and the same be
delivered to the said Seals Construction.
Passed and adopted this 13 day of September , 1982.
