i- J WHEREAS , Witt Construction of Waterloo , Iowa have under
contract with the City of Waterloo, Iowa , dated May 4 , 1981 ,
furnished certain materials and performed labor in connection with
FY 1981 Columbus Area Storm Sewer, Contract No. 211 , in the City
of Waterloo, Iowa , and
WHEREAS , the completion report of City Engineer for the work
performed and materials furnished by the said contractors under
said contract is $92, 049. 08, and
WHEREAS , under the terms of said contract said contractors ,
Witt Construction , are to be paid 90% of the monthly estimates as
furnished by the Engineers for the City of Waterloo , Iowa , and
WHEREAS, said contractors have been previously paid the
amount of $80 , 086 . 93 leaving a balance due of $7 , 359 . 70 , now,
therefore ,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO , IOWA:
That the report of the Engineers be approved, said contractors ,
Witt Construction , be paid the sum of $7 , 359. 70 and the same be
delivered to the said Witt Construction .
Passed and adopted this 13 day of September , 1982.
