_ WORK.
_ WHEREAS , Cedar Valley Corp . of Waterloo , Iowa have under
contract with the City of Waterloo, Iowa , dated February 2 , 1982 ,
furnished certain materials and performed labor in connection with
FY 1982 Paving Program, Contract No . 223, in the City of Waterloo ,
Iowa , and
WHEREAS , the completion report of City Engineer for the work
performed and materials furnished by the said contractors under
said contract is $493 ,463. 16 , and
WHEREAS , under the terms of said contract said contractors ,
Cedar Valley Corp . , are to be paid 90% of the monthly estimates as
furnished by: the Engineers for the City of Waterloo , Iowa , and
WHEREAS , said contractors have been previously paid the
amount of $462 , 630. 06 leaving a balance due of $6 , 159 . 94 , now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO , IOWA:
That the report of the Engineers be approved, said contractors ,
Cedar Valley Corp . , be paid the sum of $6 , 159 . 94 and the same be
delivered to the said Cedar Valley Corp.
Passed and adopted this 13 day of September , 1982.
