RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO ,
IOWA , AS THE WATERLOO HOUSING AUTHORITY , FOR CERTIFICATION
,QF,:;cIOSE-OUT FOR THE SECTION 23 LEASED HOUSING PROGRAM
c tc51- 1 & 2 .
WHEREAS, U . S . Department of Housing and Urban Development
( HUD ) Notice No. H80- 14 (PHA) requires a Certification of
Close-Out from public housing agencies when said agencies convert
Section_ 21 units to Section 8 ; and,
WHEREAS , all Section 23 units administered by the Waterloo
Housing Authority have been converted to Section 8 or otherwise
terminated from the Section 23 program ; and ,
WHEREAS , the Waterloo Housing Authority has not previously
submitted the Certification of Close-Out for Section 23 Leased
Housing program No. IA-50- 1 & 2,
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
OF WATERLaO, IOWA that :

1 . The Waterloo Housing Authority certifies that the Section
23 Leased Housing program IA-50- 1 & 2 has been closed out
and said close-out has been conducted in accordance with
HUD Notice H80-14 ( PHA) . All assets and cash remaining
from the Section 23 program have been disposed of in
accordance with HUD Notice H80- 14 ( PHA) .
2 . The Waterloo Housing Authority certifies that its Board
of Commissioners has examined the Books of Account and
Records of the Section 23 Leased Housing program and has
G determined that there are no outstanding obligations or
receivables .
3 . The Waterloo Housing Authority agrees to termination of
Annual Contributions Contract No. KC-3053 covering the
Section 23 Leased Housing program No. IA-50 1 & 2.
Passed and adopted this 1st day of November, 1982, approved
by the Mayor this 1st day of November , 1982.
