HomeMy WebLinkAbout1982-499-11.01.1982 RESOLUTION NO. /(L) 10 9 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING A CERTAIN OFFER OF SALE TO THE CITY AND ACCEPTING AND APPROVING A CERTAIN OFFER OF SALE OF LAND. WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has had all the parcels described herein appraised and the fair market value ascertained, AND WHEREAS, the acquisition of the hereinafter described parcels is neessary to carry out the Maywood Drainage Project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, that the offers of the owners of the parcels hereinafter desribed to sell the same to the City of Waterloo, Iowa, all of which are situated in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, are accepted and approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the same in behalf of the City and to execute all instruments necessary to consumate the agreement to purchase the property from the owners thereof, and the agreement for the conveyance of the same are also accepted and approved and the City of Waterloo is directed to pay for the properties and the incidental expenses necessary to the consumation of the sales from City Funds.
