RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THE IOWA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION AWARD THE CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION
OF THE DEERE ROAD CORRIDOR PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has
received a recommendation from the staff recommending that the contract for
construction of the Deere Road Corridor Project be approved, and

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa after
consideration does recommend said contract for approval to the Iowa
Department of Transportation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the said council goes on record recommending that the
Iowa Department of Transportation award the contract heretofore considered
and approved by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, for
construction of the Deere Road Corridor Project within the City of
Waterloo, Iowa. The City of Waterloo does hereby designate the City of
Cedar Falls to act as its agent in all acts relating to said project in
accordance with the Intergovernmental Agreement dated January 5, 1982
between the City? of Cedar Falls and the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
Adopted this 6 day of December, 1982.
