RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS THE WATERLOO HOUSING AUTHORITY, APPROVING REVISION NO. ONE
(1) TO ITS FINAL APPLICATION FOR COMPREHENSIVE IMPROVEMENTS
ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (CIAP) FUNDS FOR PROJECT NO. IA-50-3.
WHEREAS, under authorization of Resolution No. 1982-506 passed and
adopted on November 8, 1982, the Waterloo Housing Authority filed its Final
Application for CIAP Funds; and,
WHEREAS, under authorization of Resolution No. 1982-507 passed and
adopted on November 8, 1982, the Waterloo Housing Authority executed a Moder-
nization Project Amendment to Consolidated Annual Contributions Contract No.
KC-3047 providing for a Maximum Modernization Cost of $162,444.00, and
execution of a Modernization Permanent Note in the Maximum Aggregate Amount
of Advances of $162,444.00; and,
WHEREAS, on November 23, 1982, the U.S. Department of Housing and
Urban Development (HUD) approved and notified the Waterloo Housing Authority
that the Final Application amount had been increased by $35,000.00 to a total
of $197,444.00, and delivered for execution the necessary amendatory documents
to affect said increase,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that:
1. Submission of Revision No. One (1) to Final Application (CIAP)
is approved and adopted.
2. Execution of Modernization Project Amendment to Consolidated
Annual Contributions Contract No. KC-3047, Amendment No. 3, and execution of
Modernization Permanent Note, both in the aggregate amount of $197,444.00 is
herewith approved and adopted.
3. The Waterloo Housing Authority reaffirms the CIAP Certifications
in connection with the Final Application as stated in Resolution No. 1982-506.
Passed and adopted this 6th day of December, 1982, and approved by
the Mayor this 6th day of December, 1982.
