RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO LAMETTI & SONS, INC. , OF HUGO ,
MINNESOTA FOR THE FY 1983 ORANGE GROVE TRUNK SEWER , INTERCITY
INTERCEPTOR, STAGE I , CONTRACT NO . 247 IN THE AMOUNT OF $960 ,000. 00 .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO , IOWA:
That the bid of Lametti & Sons , Inc. of Hugo, Minnesota , in the
amount of $960, 000. 00 , for the construction of the Waterloo , Iowa ,
FY 1983 Orange Grove Trunk Sewer, Intercity Interceptor, Stage I ,
Contract No. 247 , described in the plans and specifications heretofore
adopted by this Council for said project, after public hearing on
published notice required by law, be and is hereby accepted , the same
being the lowest bid received for said work .
The Mayor and Clerk are hereby directed to execute contract with the
said contractor for the construction of said improvements , said contract
inot to be binding on the City until approved by this Council .
Passed and approved, this 13 day of December , 1982.
