RESOLUTION AUTHORIZIN0 THE SALE AND
CONVEYANCE OF CERTAIN EXCESS
RIGHT-OF-WAY TO KATHERINE CROSS MOSLEY
FOR $80.00 , PLUS COSTS AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AND
DELIVER A DEED FOR SAME .
WHEREAS , the City of Waterloo , Iowa , is the owner of real
property in the City of Waterloo, Iowa , as described below, and
WHEREAS , an offer to purchase said certain parcel of real
property in the sum of 10.00, plus costs , has been male by
Katherine Cross osley , and
WHEREAS , a public hearing was held on January 18 , 102 at
7 : 00 P .4. to the Council Chaelbers in City "all , Waterloo , Iowa , as
provided by law , by the Council of the City of Waterloo , Iowa , on
the oroposal to sell and convey premises owned by the City of
Waterloo, Iowa to Katherine Cross Mosley , Waterloo , Iowa , and
WHEREAS, it is the oninion of this Council that sale and
conveyance should he made as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE , IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY 9F WATERLOO, IOWA , AS FOLLOWS :
I . The following described real property , es fully
described in the published notice in the Waterloo Courier on
December 31 , 19t!,1, is not presently needed and will not he needed
in the foreseeable future for municipal purposes and its ownership
is serving no municipal purpose, and
2. That the offer of Katherine Cross Mosley to purchase
real Property for the sup of eighty and no/100 dollars ( 80. 00 ) and
costs be, and it is hereby accepted for real property described
below :
That portion of alley lying between Lots 10 and 11 ,
Block 4 , Manson ' s 4th Addition , City of Waterloo, Mack
Hawk County , Iowa .
3 . That the City of Waterloo , Iovia , convey said parcels of
real property to Katherine Cross Mosley by Quit Claim Deed , the
form of which is hereto attached and approved.
Q. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to
execute and deliver deeds to Katherine Cross Mosley.
5. That the original of said deed fully executed and
acknowledged having been s'ihriitted with this Resolution , the same
is hereby approved and confirmed by the Council .
h. That the City Clerk is authorized and directe-d to
deliver said deed of conveyance to Katherine Cross Mosley upon
receipt of the surd of eighty dollars ( 0. 00) and costs .
